China's Visa-Free Policy
China has expanded its visa-free policy to include citizens of many countries. Eligible travelers can enter China without a visa for stays ranging from 15 to 30 days depending on their nationality. This applies to tourism, business visits, family visits, and transit purposes.
240-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy
Citizens of 55 countries — including the US, Canada, UK, Australia... (See full list here) — can transit through China for up to 10 days without a visa, provided you hold an onward ticket to a third country. Available at 60 ports including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Xi'an.
